Home Remedies for Treating Eye bags 

Does this sound familiar? You wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and instantly feel frustrated and fed up with those horrible bags under your eyes! You’ve gotten plenty of sleep, so why are they still there?

Sleep is only one factor which may cause eye bags. They are also commonly caused by heightened levels of caffeine consumption, stress, or respiratory problems. Don’t worry though, we’ve got a a few very effective home treatments to eliminate those pesky bags once and for all.

Place a moist towel on your eyes

-Before going to bed, leave a moist towel in the fridge.
-The following morning, place it over your forehead and eyes.
-Let it set for 5 minutes.

Strap on masks are available at most health and beauty stores which will accomplish the same thing.  What this remedy is essentially doing is reducing inflammation.

Tea bags over the dark circles under your eyes

There is so much you can do with used tea bags but this might be my favorite use.

Whenever you make tea,  save the tea bags and store in the fridge.  When they’re nice and cold and you have the time, allow them to set on your eyes with your head back for 20 minutes.  Laying down is best, but if you are unable simply lean back in a chair. Once 20 minutes is up rinse your eyes well. Not only does this method reduce inflammation but it attenuates the dark circles as well.
