How To Survive A Heart Attack When You Are Alone

Many people are alone when they get a heart attack and without help or knowledge, as you can imagine will have a lower chance of survival.

If a person whose heart is beating improperly, begins to feel faint, they usually have only about 10 seconds of time to react before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by the following ways. By coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. Also, a deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, like you were coughing up mucus from deep inside your chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without letting up until some help arrives, or until you can feel your heart beating normally again.

Deep breaths help get high amounts of oxygen into the lungs and the coughing movement squeezes the heart and keeps the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain its normal rhythm. Using this technique, heart attack victims have a much higher chance of getting to a doctor or hospital to help. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!
